In a
Harris Poll released last Thursday, Rudy and Fred were first and second . The poll listed all the announced GOP candidates. (Yes, Fred is considered "announced". ) That's not the big news though.
The survey also included a separate Presidential poll that included names of two GOP leaders who have not announced or are not "considered" to be running for President. These names included Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice . The results: Rudy 30%, Colin Powell 28%, McCain 21%, Thompson 19%, Condoleezza Rice 15%, Romney 14%, Newt 11%.
This coupled with the Des Moines Register poll, scroll down for the post about it, should be encouraging for Condi supporters. it should also give Republican voters and leaders something to think about . If she really isn't running, why is her name still in the mix? It's because the people want her in the running. The people are open to alternatives to the current crop.
