I'm back!
I took some time off to study for the Illinois Bar Exam. I took it last week and am now fully recovered. Now I am playing catch up on the blog.
In the news:
An AP
poll was released 2 weeks ago about the Presidential nominees. The number of people answering "Undecided" for the GOP has increased from 14 to 23 percent in the last month. It looks like people haven't really rallied around a particular candidate yet.
Fred , who was to announce on July 4th, has now pushed back the announcement until September. This means he will not be listed on the
Iowa,
Illinois, or
Texas straw polls. (All of them have rules that
only announced candidates will be on the polls.) Will this hurt his campaign???
Whoops! Fred IS on the Iowa ballot! The "Draft Condi" campaign was told that one must announce their candidacy in order to be on the Iowa straw poll. Now I find out that Iowa state central committeemen vote on who will be listed.
